C.R. Onsrud Router Table Retrofit

This is a Centroid M400 retrofit to a 2004 5' x 10' C.R. Onsrud 122C16 twin-table router. The retrofit was completed in December 2025.

Onsrud Router
The machine is a 3-axis twin-table router with a 12kW high-speed main spindle.

For this customer's use, the tables are always paired together and operated simultaneously (forming one 5' x 10' table).

If it were needed, the control could be extended to provide independent or alternating-table operation.

There is a 12-position rotary tool carousel at the X+ end of the bridge, and an electronic tool setter at the X- end.

Main Control cabinet
The retrofit replaced the original Kollmorgen servo motors and drives with new Yaskawa Sigma 7 EtherCAT motors and drives, controlled with a Centroid Hickory control unit.

The original Yaskawa spindle drive and Colombo spindle motor were retained.
